Privacy Policy

The short version

This Privacy Policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website, buy a license, use the Hunta Copier software ("Software") or contact us, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. The Software

1.1 What never leaves your computer

Hunta Copier runs locally on your Windows computer and connects to NinjaTrader on the same machine. The following data is processed only on your computer and is never transmitted to us:

• orders, fills, positions, prices, profit and loss and trading history;
• account names and numbers, account balances and drawdown data;
• usernames, passwords, API keys or other credentials for your broker, data provider, trading platform or prop firm;
• your copier settings, copy groups, risk settings and the local copy log.

This data is stored in files on your own computer. You can view, export and delete it at any time. We have no access to it.

1.2 License activation and validation

To activate the Software and check that a license is valid and used on no more than two computers, the Software contacts a license service. In doing so, the following is processed:

• your license key and its activation status;
• a device identifier: a one-way hash generated from technical characteristics of your computer. It cannot be used to identify you or to reconstruct those characteristics;
• the Software version and Windows version;
• the time of the request and your IP address, which is technically necessary for the connection.

The license service stores the device identifiers of your activated computers, with the date of activation and of the last check, together with your purchase at Whop. The Software checks the license when you activate it, when it starts and every few hours while it runs. When you download the installer on this website with your license key, the key is checked the same way; it is not stored for this. If you move the license to another computer, the old device identifier is removed.

Purpose: providing the license you bought and preventing license misuse. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing unauthorized use of the Software).

1.3 Update check

The Software may check whether a newer version is available. In doing so, the installed version number and your IP address are transmitted for the duration of the request. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (providing updates and keeping the Software secure).

1.4 Diagnostics

The Software does not send crash reports, usage statistics or telemetry automatically. If you choose to send us a log file for support, its contents are only used to solve your issue (see Section 4). Please check log files before sending them and remove anything you do not want to share.

2. This website

2.1 Server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically processes information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page or file, referring page, browser type and version, operating system and the amount of data transferred. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and working website). The hosting provider acts as a processor bound by instructions (Article 28 GDPR). Log data is deleted after a short period, usually within 30 days, unless it is needed to investigate a specific security incident.

2.2 No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage to track you. We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking pixels, social media plugins or session recording. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.

2.3 No third-party content

Fonts, scripts and images are hosted on the same server as this website. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts, content delivery networks or other third parties when you visit it. Links to other websites, such as Whop, only take you there when you click them.

One exception: on the checkout page, when you click "Pay", your browser loads Whop's secure payment form from Whop's servers (cdn.whop.com) so you can pay without leaving the page. Whop then receives your IP address and the details you enter in that form, and Whop's own privacy policy applies to them (Section 3). Nothing from Whop is loaded before you click "Pay".

3. Purchases via Whop

Hunta Copier is sold exclusively through Whop (whop.com). When you buy a license, Whop processes your name, email address, billing details, country, IP address, payment details and order information to run the checkout, process the payment, calculate taxes, prevent fraud and manage your Whop account. For this processing, Whop's own privacy policy applies.

Through Whop we receive only what we need to deliver and manage your license: your name or Whop username, email address, country, order date, order number, price paid and license key. We never receive or store your full card or bank details.

If you open a case in Whop's Resolution Center, we see the information you provide in that case, such as your description, screenshots or files, and use it only to handle the case.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract) and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law).

We use your contact details only to deliver your license and to send you important information about it, such as security issues. We do not send marketing messages without your separate consent.

4. Support through Whop

All support runs through Whop. If you message us on Whop or open a case there, we process your Whop username, the contents of your messages, any files you attach and your order details to answer your request. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to your license, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). Please do not send us broker passwords or other credentials.

5. Recipients

Personal data is only shared where this is necessary for the purposes described above:

• the hosting provider of this website and the provider of the license service, as processors bound by instructions;
• Whop, for checkout, payment, license delivery, support messages and cases (Sections 3 and 4);
• tax advisors and authorities, where this is legally required.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Whop is based in the United States, and other providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, an adequate level of data protection is ensured, for example through an adequacy decision of the European Commission (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified companies) or through the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR).

7. How long we keep data

• License data (license key, activation status, device identifiers): for as long as your license exists, and deleted after it ends unless retention is legally required.
• Order data: for the statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law, currently up to 10 years.
• Support messages and cases: until your request has been resolved, and then for up to 2 years in case of follow-up questions, unless longer retention is legally required.
• Server log files: usually within 30 days (Section 2.1).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data held about you (Article 15);
• have incorrect data corrected (Article 16);
• have your data deleted (Article 17);
• restrict processing (Article 18);
• receive your data in a portable format (Article 20);
• object at any time to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21);
• withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Article 7(3)).

To exercise your rights, send us a message through Whop. For data that Whop processes under its own responsibility, you can also contact Whop directly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), in particular in the EU member state where you live or work or where the alleged infringement took place.

9. Security

This website and the license service are only reachable over encrypted connections (TLS). The data processed is kept to a minimum and protected with appropriate technical and organizational measures. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data according to the state of the art.

10. Other information

10.1 Providing personal data is neither legally nor contractually required, but without a Whop account and payment we cannot sell you a license, and without the license check the Software cannot be activated.

10.2 We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

10.3 The Software and this website are not intended for persons under 18.

10.4 We may update this Privacy Policy if our processing or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
